The Shahkot police have booked seven persons including two women on the charges of outraging a woman’s
Investigating officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused have been identified as Malkit Singh a resident of Rame village, his son Kuldeep Singh, daughter in law and brother Ajit Singh and nephew Meet and Raj Kumar’s wife
Parkash Kaur a resident of Chak Bahmanian village complained to the police the accused assaulted and outraged her modesty and threatened her .
IO said that a case under sections 74 (criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 115(2) ,118(2)(voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 351(2)(criminal intimidation) and 190,191(3)( rioting, unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
