Vllager   booked for raping minor girl

 

NAKODAR 6 JUNE

The Nakodar City police have booked a villager on the charge of raping a minor girl.

Investigating officer (IO) and in- charge Woman Cell Jalandhar Monika Arora    said that the accused has   been identified as Vanshu a resident of Mahun Wal village.

IO said a gynaecologist posted in Nakodar Civil Hospital has sent her report to the police that a pregnant minor has been admitted in the hospital who was raped by the accused Vansu

 

IO said that a case under sections 65(1) (rape on woman under sixteen years), of the BNS   and section6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act -2012 has been registered against the accused. No arrest has been made, and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
