Migrant tipper driver arrested for causing death by negligence

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a migrant tipper driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.

Investigating officer (IO)Kulwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Golu Kumar a resident of Muzaffar Pur district, Bihar

Tarlok Chand a resident of Ganga Nagar in Rajasthan had complained to the police that the accused was driving his tipper tanker fast and negligently on May 22 evening and hit his son Raj Kumar at Tut Kalan village resulting in his death.

IO said a case under sections 106-A (causing death by negligence), 281 (rash driving on public roads) and 125-A,125-B (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
