Villager arrested for stealing beauty salon items

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing beauty salon items from a house .

Investigating officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused has been identified as Gurtej Singh alias Gora son of Raj Kumar a resident of Chuharr village.

Sonia wife of Baljit Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice stole salon chair, trolly, facial kits and bridal accessories from her house on May 5 night.

IO said a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305 (theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Gurpreet Singh son of Dharam Pal a resident of Chuharr village who is absconding.
