Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

 SHAHKOT  6 MAY 

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler for selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Major Singh said that 38 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Mithun Kumar alias Mithu , son of Sohan Lal a resident of Dane Wal  village.

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
