Mother daughter duo booked for assaulting co-villager woman, provoking dog bite

The Mehat Pur police have boked a mother daughter duo on charges of assaulting a co-villager woman and provoking their pet bitch to bite her.

Investigating officer (IO) Amrik Lal said that the accused have ben identified as Satnam Kaur wife of Mohann Singh a resident of Baghela village and her daughter Indarjit Kaur alias Suman.

Paramjit Kaur wife of Dalbir Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused that the accused barged into her house with their pet bitch on April 6 assaulted her and provoked bitch to bite her and threatened her with dire consequences.

IO said a case under sections 291(neglect conduct with respect to animal )333(lurking house trespass) 351(2) (criminal intimidation) 115(2)(voluntarily causing hurt) and 34 (things done in private defence) of the BNS has been registered against the accrued.
