One arrested twelve including women booked for murder bid, firing

The Lohian Khas have arrested one miscreant and booked twelve others including women on the charge of attempt to murder and firing

Investigating Officer (IO) Harwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manpreet Singh alias Gagan son of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Chak Bandala village.

Paramjit Kaur wife of Mukhtiar  Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused and twelve accomplices including four women  barged into her house on April 11 evening  and assaulted  her and her family members and one accused Anmol Singh a resident of Tibbi Ranga village  fired  targeting them with intention to kill but they saved themselves  somehow and the accused  ransacked her house,  grocery shop and smashed   cameras and fled away .

Investigating Officer said a case under sections109(attempt to murder)333(house trespass) 324(4)(mischief )191(3) (rioting armed with deadly weapons) 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS and 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused and his twelve accomplices including six women residents of Chak Bandala village.
