The Shahkot police have booked unidentified
Mining Inspector Jalandhar complained to the police that the accused were indulging in illegal sand mining from Sutlej River near Thamu Wal village.
Investigating Officer Parjindar kaur said that a case under section 21 of the Mines and Minerals Act 1957 and section 303(2) (theft) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified persons.
