Villager arrested for selling illicit country

made liquor

 

NURMAHAL 7 APRIL 

The Nurmahal police have arrested a villager on charge of selling illicit country made liquor.

Investigating officer (IO) Subash Chandar said that 35 bottles of hooch were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Balwant Singh a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village under Mehat Pur police station.

 

A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
