Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT    6 APRIL 

The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers for selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Charanjit Singh said that 45 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as

Ajay son of Sukhdev Mohalla Shah Salem Pur Mehat Pur and Gurpreet son of Jagdish a resident of Sarangwal village.

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
