Three of family booked for cheating, conspiracy

 

NAKODAR 2 APRIL 

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked three members of a family on the charge of cheating and criminal conspiracy.

Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused have been identified as Kulveer Singh son of Sohan Singh a resident of Uggi village his wife Lakhwindar Kaur and daughter in law Kulwindar Kaur .

 

Baldev Singh a resident of Uggi village complained to the police that the accused agreed to sell their house and received Rs 11 lakhs from him but did not give possession of the house and cheated him.

 

 

 

Investigating Officer said that a case under section 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property)316(2) (criminal breach of trust) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
