Four drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR /NURMAHAL 22 MARCH 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two drug peddlers on charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Kulwindar Singh said that 51 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Kulwindar Singh alias Kinda son of Balveer  Singh and Shani Dabb son of Sohan Lal both residents of Chak Khurd village.

IO   stated that a case under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Rahul son of Guljari Lal of Mohalla Dibi Pura with 23 intoxicant tablets said IO Amandeep Singh.

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Raj Muhamad son of Jamaldin of Gumtala village with 25 intoxicant tablets said IO Avtar Lal.
