Couple booked for cheating, conspiracy

SHAHKOT 21 MARCH 

 The Shahkot police have booked a couple on the charge of cheating and criminal conspiracy.

Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Vishal Singla son of Pawan Singla a resident of 104 Vinova Basti Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan state and his wife Seema Singla.

Goldi Gupta a resident of grain market, Jawahar Market, Shahkot complained to the police that he had appointed the accused as his power of attorney which was cancelled but the accused using cancelled attorney knowingly registered properties on the name of Seema Singla and cheated him

Investigating Officer said that a case under section 318(4) (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused.
