Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT 3 MARCH 

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO)Sarwann Singh said that 35 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gourav son  of Baldev Raj a resident of Said Pur Jhirri   village.

IO stated that a case under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
