Miscreant booked for stealing from Gurdwara

NURMAHAL 19 FEBRUARY 

 The Bilga police have booked miscreant on charge of stealing from a Gurdwara

Investigating officer (IO) Vijay Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Malkit Singh alias Laddu son of Charan Singh a resident of Pati Bagga, Bilga village.

Raghu Veer Singh a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused barged into Gurdwara Shri Guru Ravidass ji on February 18 night and stole Rs 5100 garland from idol of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji .

IO said that a case under sections 331(4) (house breaking by night to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 305(D) (theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
