Woman drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR    22 OCTOBER 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler on charges of selling poppy husk.

 Investigating officer (IO)Kulwindar Singh said that 12 kilograms of poppy husk and Rs 15060 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Rajwindar Kaur alias Rajji, the wife of Shinda Ram, a resident of Thabalke village.

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 15, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
