Woman drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR 22 SEPTEMBER 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.

Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that 400 grams of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Baksho wife of Krishan Lal a resident of Bajuha Kalan village.

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 15/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
