24 miscreants booked for kidnapping, assault , conspiracy 

NAKODAR  11 SEPTEMBER 

The Nakodar Sadar police have booked twenty-four miscreants on the charge of kidnapping, assault, and criminal conspiracy

Investigating officer (IO) and Uggi police post in charge Jaspal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gopi, Jasbir Singh and Sukhwant Singh, residents of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala, and Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Nurpur keema village in Moga  and their twenty unidentified accomplices

Baljit Singh, a resident of Talwandi Salem village, complained to the police that the accused kidnapped him from a bus stand on September 9, levying false charges of police tout against him, and took him to Lattian Wal village, where all the accused assaulted him and beat him, and threatened to kill him.

IO said a case under sections 140(1) (kidnapping to murder) 115(2)(voluntarily causing hurt ), 61(2)(criminal conspiracy )191(3) (rioting) and 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
