Woman among four booked   for murder bid

NAKODAR. 8 SEPTEMBER 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have booked four villagers, including a woman, on charges of attempted murder.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram stated that the accused have been identified as Resham Singh, son of Bhagu, a resident of Lehanna Dhadda village; his son, Amarjit Singh; and his daughter, Manpreet Kaur, as well as Gurwindar Singh, alias Goldi, son of Jaspal Singh, also a resident of the same village.

Hardeep Kaur, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into her house and attacked her, her daughter, and her son with dangerous weapons with the intention to kill. and threatened her with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under section 109(attempt to murder) 74(assault or criminal force to a woman with the intention to outrage her modesty 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), 333(lurking house trespass) 351(2) (criminal intimidation) and 3(5) (committing a crime with common intention) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
