Villager arrested for selling illicit liquor.

NAKODAR 7 SEPTEMBER 

The Nakodar City police have arrested a villager on charges of selling illicit liquor.

Investigating Officer (IO)Davindar Singh said that 9 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gurjant Singh, a resident of Sohal village.

IO said a case has been registered under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act against the accused.
