Driver arrested for causing death by negligence.

NURMAHAL 29 AUGUST 

 The Nurmahal police have arrested a driver on charges of causing death by negligence, rash driving, and mischief.

Investigating Officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that the accused has been identified as Lakhvinder Singh alias Lakkhi, son of Ram Lubhaya, a resident of Pati Dhuni Ki Jandiala village.

Gurmukh Singh, a resident of Sunnerr Kalan, a village, had complained to the police that the accused was driving his vehicle fast and negligently, and hit his son Jasdeep Singh’s motorcycle and killed him

  The Investigating Officer said that a case under sections 106 (causing death by negligence), 281(rash driving on a public road), and 324(mischief) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
