Woman booked for selling illicit liquor

SHAHKOT 2 AUGUST 

The Shahkot police have booked a woman on charges of selling illicit liquor.

Investigating Officer Sarwann Singh said that 8 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the house of the accused, identified as Dalveer Kaur Nikki, a resident of Mulle Wal village, who managed to flee from the spot.

A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
