Bilga villager booked for causing death by negligence.

NURMAHAL 1 AUGUST 

 The Bilga police have booked a villager on the charge of causing death by negligence.

Investigating officer (IO) Avtar Lal said that the accused has been identified as Balwindar Singh alias Binda, son of Shadu Ram, a resident of Uppal Bhupa village.

Paramjit Kaur, wife of Rannjit Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that her husband had died in April, a month during harvesting of the wheat crop in fields of Binda while getting down from a tractor at night.

IO said that the police had registered a daily diary report under section 194 of the BNNS on April 28.

Avtar Lal said the police have received a post-mortem report, which said that the deceased Rannjit Singh died due to negligence.

IO said that a case under section 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
