Villager arrested for selling illicit liquor

NURMAHAL /SHAHKOT 30 JULY 

The Bilga police have arrested a villager on charges of selling illicit liquor.

Investigating Officer Vijay Kumar said that 30 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Balwindar Singh a resident of Mao Sahib village.

A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.

The Shahkot police also arrested Roshan of Mohalla Dhorra with 10 bottles of liquor
