Ludhiana miscreant arrested for murder bid

NAKODAR 12 JULY 
The Nakodar City police have arrested a miscreant on the charges of attempt to murder, criminal intimidation, and rioting.

Investigating Officer (IO ) Rajindar Pal Singh said the accused has been identified as Mustafa alias Pamma, son of Sadeek Hussain a resident of Ram Pur village under Doraha police station, Ludhiana.

Sadam Hussain, a resident of Mohalla Lahey Wal Nakodar City, had complained to the police that the accused waylaid and attacked him on April 11, intending to kill and seriously injure him, and threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said a case under sections109(attempt to murder) 126(2) (wrongful restraint) ,351(2) (criminal intimidation) 115(2)118(1) (causing grievous hurt) 191(2) (rioting) 190(unlawful assembly and 324(4) (mischief) of the BNS was registered against the accused and. six accomplices.
