Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT 30 OCTOBER 

The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler for selling intoxicant tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that 27intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Shevak Raj son of Balwindar Singh, a resident of Pati Haveli, Malsian village.

IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
