Villager arrested for selling
SHAHKOT 12 JULY
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer (IO) Sukhvindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sohann Singh a resident of Sandha Wal village
and 70 bottles of hooch were recovered from his possession.
IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
