Villager arrested for attempt to commit culpable homicide

NAKODAR 7 JULY 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

Investigating officer (IO)Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Manpreet Singh son of Narindar Jit Singh a resident of Kotla Bhagoo village.

Jagdev Singh a resident of the same village, has complained to the police that the accused and his father attacked him with sharp-edged weapons on June 2 morning on his motor and injured him seriously.

IO said a case under sections 110(attempt to commit culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused.
