Seven booked for murder bid

The Mehat Pur police have booked seven    miscreants on the charge of attempt to murder.

Investigating officer (IO) Amrik Lal said that the accused have been identified as Balwant Singh, Simranjit Singh ,Sanni, Sandeep Bittu Malkit all residents of Madhe Pura village in Ludhiana and Kali of Moga.

Karnail Singh a resident of Beetal village complained to the police that the accused attacked with sharp edged weapons and seriously injured him.

IO said a case under sections109(attempt to murder)115(2) (voluntary causing hurt),126(2)(wrongful restraint) )351(3) (criminal intimidation) 190(3),191 (rioting and unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused. And many unidentified accomplices.
