Two drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR  7 JUNE

The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.

Station House Officer (SHO) Harmindar Singh said that28 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Manga son of Gurmit Ram a resident of Mohalla Santokh Garh, Nakodar.

SHO said a   case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Shamsher Singh son of Jogindar Singh of Khiva village with 10 intoxicant tablets said IO Buta Ram.

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Raju alias Lali son of Darshi of Sango Wal village with 60 intoxicant tablets said IO Charanjit Singh .
