Two booked for gang raping
SHAHKOT /NURMAHAL 21 APRIL
The Shahkot police have booked two miscreants for gang raping a minor.
Investigating Officer (IO) Inspector Seema said the accused have been identified as Mani son of Santokh and Giani son of Soma residents of Thamu Wal village.
The victim complained to the police that the accused Mani raped her and other accused stood as security guard
IO said a case under section 70(2) (gang rape) of the BNS and sections 5(G) ,6 of POSCO Act has been registered against the accused.
The Bilga police also booked an Amritsar resident of the charge of raping a minor
Investigating Officer (IO) Assistant Sub Inspector Amandeep Kaur posted at Phillaur police station said the accused has been identified as Rahul a resident of Kaliann Singh Road, Hathi Gate Amritsar City.
The victim ‘s close relative complained to the police that the accused raped her minor nice in Amritsar.
IO said a Zero FIR under sections 65(1) (raping minor) of the BNS and section 6 of the POSCO Act has been registered against the accused and has been sent to police station division no E -Amritsar City for further investigations.
