Couple arrested for outraging woman’s modesty

NAKODAR 7 APRIL 

The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a couple on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.

Investigating Officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused have been identified as Gurmail Chand son of Sohan Lal a resident of Bagh Pur village and, his wife Jasveer Kaur.

Gurmail Chand a resident of Bagh Pur village had complained to the police that the accused attacked him and his wife on November 5 and tore her and her daughter’s cloths and had threatened him with dire consequences.

IO said that a case under sections74(use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),333(house trespass ) 303(2)(theft) ,351(3)(criminal intimidation was registered118(2)  (voluntarily causing grievous  hurt), 190(rioting with deadly weapons and unlaw full assembly), 3(5) (committing crime with common intention),238(causing disappearance of evidence of crime)  the BNS was  registered against the accused and others .
