Four booked for outraging woman’s modesty

 NAKODAR 24 OCTOBER 

  The Nakodar City police have booked four persons on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.

Investigating Officer (IO) Davindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Roshan son of Nikka, Raman son of Mohann Lal, his brother Ravi and Labba son of Danni all residents of Mahun Wal village

 Parveen Kumar wife of Sarabjit Ram-a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused waylaid her and attacked her, eve-teased her, tore her clothes and stole her gold chain, and threatened her with dire consequences

IO said that a case under sections74( use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),76(assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) )126(2) (wrongful restraint)  115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt) 351(3) (criminal intimidation,) and 3(5) (committing crime with common intention )  of the BNS has been registered against the accused.

No arrests have been made, and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
