Four booked for assaulting  villager

NAKODAR 16 AUGUST 

 The Mehat Pur police have booked four persons on the charge of assaulting a villager.

Investigating officer (IO) Puran Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jota, a resident of Baloki village, and his three unidentified accomplices.

Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Dhaliwal village under Nakodar Sadar police station, complained to the police that the accused attacked him with weapons and seriously injured him due to a misunderstanding.

IO said that a case under sections 115(2),117(2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt),3(5) (committing a crime with common intention)  of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
