Five thieves booked for stealing cash, jewellary

NAKODAR 27 JUNE 

 The Mehat Pur police have booked five thieves on the charge of stealing cash and jewellary from a house.

Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said the accused have been identified as Harman, Dimpi, and Kala, residents of Singh Pur village, Bunti, a resident of Pandori  Khas under Nakodar city police station, and one unidentified accomplice.

Bhupndar Singh, a resident of Singh Pur village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on June 25  and stole Rs26 000 and gold and silver jewellary.

Investigating Officer Darshan Lal said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305 (thief in dwelling house) of the BNS c has been registered against the accused.
