Three drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act 
NAKODAR/SHAHKOT /NURMAHAL 24 JUNE 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.

 Investigating officer (IO)Kulwindar  Singh said that 6 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Tarsem Lal, a resident of Shankar village.

.IO said that a case under sections 21-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Kulwant Singh alias Kanti, son of Gurdev Singh, a resident of Punia village, with 35 intoxicant tablets, said IO Buta Ram.

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Jaswant Singh alias Sonu, son of Gurdial Singh, a resident of Cheema Kalan village, with 35 intoxicant tablets, said IO Harjit Singh
