Villager arrested for brewing illicit   liquor 

NAKODAR 18 JUNE 

The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of brewing and selling illicit   liquor

The investigating officer (IO), Kashmir Singh, said 120 liters of lahann (raw liquor ) were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Mangal Singh, a resident of Khaira Mush Tarka village.

IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
