Miscreant arrested  for outraging modesty of woman

NAKODAR 17 JUNE 

The Mehat Pur police have arrested a miscreant on the charges of outraging the modesty of a woman and snatching.

Investigating officer (IO) Kashmir Singh Mandeep Kumar alias said that the accused has been identified as Mandeep Kumar alias Happy, son of Dhir Pal, a resident of Maherru village.

The victim had complained to the police that the accused and his twenty-six accomplices had assaulted, threatened, and outraged her modesty and snatched her gold chain.

IO said that a case under section 76(3) (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to disrobe,)304(2)(snatching ), 115(2) voluntarily causing hurt), 351(2)(criminal conspiracy)191(3) (rioting) and 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS was registered against the accused and others on May 19, 2025.
