Three of family  booked for kidnapping minor girl

NAKODAR 16 JUNE

 The Nakodar sadar police have booked three members of a family on the charge of kidnapping a minor girl.

Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar  Singh said that the accused have been identified as Prince, son of Satpal, a resident of Pati Jai Ki Sarihn village, his mother, Charanjit Kaur, and sister, Parmindar Kaur.

The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused conspired and kidnapped her minor daughter on the pretext of marriage.

IO said that a case under sections 137(2)  (kidnapping), 96 (procuration of child), and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
