Seven drug addicts arrested for consuming heroin, poppy husk.

The Nakodar City police have arrested three drug addicts on the charge of consuming heroin.

Investigating Officer (IO) Rajindar Kumar said the accused have been identified as Vikram Deep Singh a resident of Bir Pind village , Sunil Sheti of Allowal village and Manjindar Singh a resident of Malrri .

IO said a lighter, silver paper, and plastic pipes used for consuming contraband were recovered from their possession.   A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.

The Mehatpur police arrested three drug addicts, Vishal Sahil , Arsh Dep, and Sahil, residents of Umre Wal Billa village.

The Bilga police also arrested a drug addict, Harkaran Pal Singh, a resident of Gorsian village, said IO Charanjit Singh
