Drug peddler arrested under NDPS Act 
NAKODAR 13 MAY 

 The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicating tablets.

Investigating Officer (IO)Gurnam Singh said that 120 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Balvir Singh alias Sukha, son of Karnail Singh, a resident of Umare Wal village.

IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused, who is notorious with cases pending against him.
