Jalandhar Rural SSP H.S. Virk on Tuesday suspended Mehat Pur police station House Officer Lakhvir Singh and an assistant sub inspector Dharmindar Singh
Shahkot DSP Onakar Singh Brar said that these two officials have been suspended for misbehaving with people.
Dr. B.R Ambedkar Dalit Sena led by Sh Ashwani Kumar State President will stage dharna in front of Police Station Mehatpur district Jalandhar with the demand to register FIR against SI Lakhvir Singh SHO Mehatpur and ASI Dharminder Kumar for humiliating two boys in police custody.
They have alleged that today SI Lakhvir Singh SHO Mehatpur and ASI Dharminder Kumar rounded up two boys named Vikas age 18 years and Rohin age 15/16 years of village Jhuggian PS Mehatpur and took them to PS Mehatpur and compelled them to perform indecent acts with each other. They are demanding to register an FIR against SI Lakhvir Singh SHO Mehatpur and ASI Dharminder Kumar under SC/ST Act for humiliating two boys in police custody.
