Shahkot miscreant arrested for snatching woman’s earrings

NAKODAR 21 MARCH 

 The Nakodar City police have arrested a Shahkot miscreant on the charge of snatching a woman’s earring.

Investigating Officer (IO) Davindar Singh said the accused has been identified as Kiranjit Singh alias Billa son of Amarjit Singh a residents of Mulle Wal Khehra village under Shahkot police station.

Anju Bala wife of Kamaljit Singh a resident of Guru Teg Bahadar Nagar had complained to the police that the accused snatched her earrings on March 10.

IO said a case under sections 304(2) (snatching) and 3(5) (committing crimes with common intention) of the BNS was registered against the accused and his accomplice Jaskaran son of Kaku a resident of the same village who is still absconding.
