Four Booked for snatching cash jewellery from NRI .

The Nurmahal police have booked four miscreants on the charges of snatching cash and jewellery from an NRI.
Station House Officer(SHO) Varinder Pal Singh Uppal said that the accused have been identified as Amrit Pal Singh alias Bhalla son of Pala a resident of Poadharra village under Bilga police station Harish and their two unidentified accomplices.
Rampreet Singh a resident of Sher Pur village living in Canada complained to the police that he came to India only for two weeks and met his old friend Amrit Pal Singh a resident of Poadharra village at Pasla village on February 15 and promised to see him in the evening at Palsa village.
NRI said in his complaint that the accused Amarit Pal told him to meet his other old friends and started driving his vehicle and drive toward Bansian village and turned the vehicle on a passage near the canal stopped and asked him to come out.
Manpreet Singh said there were three persons and he knew only one Harish when reached the spot Harish and one other accused caught his arms and the
third accused pointed a sharped weapon at his neck and Amartpal threatened to kill and snatched many golden ornaments wore by him, iPhone and smartphone and stole his bag from vehicle which contained Rs 50000, Canadian $ 1700, iPhone and iPad and fled away on the motorcycle.
NRI said he tried to contact Amritpal who is not available.
SHO said a case under sections 420(cheating ) 120-B(criminal conspiracy ) 379-B(II) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and their two unidentified accomplices and Assistant Sub Inspector Amarik Lal is conducting further investigations.
