No breakthrough in eight-year-old child murder case even after more than five years

NAKODAR 18 JANUARY 

 The Nakodar Sadar police have failed to make any breakthrough in the murder of an eight-year-old child at Mallian Kalan village even after more than five years of the crime.

Anwar Tariq was found murdered on November 23, 2018, and his body was lying near a tree in an Arhar crop field cultivated by farmer Sohan Singh. He was murdered by strangulation.

Station House Officer Yadwinder Singh said that a case under section 302(murder) was registered, and no clue was found, and a closure report was submitted in a court which was rejected, and further investigation is on.
