Two arrested for gambling.

NAKODAR 20 AGUST 

The Nakodar City police have arrested Navdeep alias Bawa a resident of Khuram Pur locality Mehat Pur and Satnam Chand a resident of Mohalla Rehman Pura Nakodar.

 Station House Officer Baljeet Singh  and Investigating officer Sarabjit Singh said that the accused were indulging in selling betting slips in bus stand under the cover of Punjab State lotteries but had no license and thus were cheating residents.

 IO said a case under sections 420(cheating) of the IPC   and section 13(A) -3-67   of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused and recovered Rs 20610, one mobile phone handset, two copies, and one pen from their possession.
