Snatcher arrested with illegal firearm
SHAHKOT 13 JULY
The Shahkot police have arrested a notorious snatcher with an illegal country-made pistol.
Investigating officer(IO) Lakhbir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Deepak Son of Buta Singh a resident of Budhann Wal village.
IO said the police have received a piece of information that the accused is a notorious snatcher coming to Shahkot for committing a crime and was nabbed at a Naka and recovered from his possession an illegal country-made pistol and one live cartridge of 12 bore.
IO said a case under sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused.
