Four  booked for assaulting woman

SHAHKOT 9 JULY

 The Shahkot police have booked four persons on the charge of assaulting a woman.

Investigating officer (IO)Balkar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amarjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Tara Singh, and Channa residents of Rame village

Jeeto wife of Ram Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused assaulted and injured her on July 2   

IO said that a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means), and 34 (committing the crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
