Sister duo among three travel agents booked for duping Shahkot woman of Rs 25 Lakhs

The Nakodar city police have booked three travel agents for allegedly duping a Shahkot woman of Rs 25 lakhs on the pretext of migrating her relative abroad.
Nakodar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sukhpal Singh and the investigating officer in this case said that the accused have been identified as Rajveer Kaur, daughter of Krishan Lal, a resident of Sanghe Jagir village under Nurmahal police station. her sister Neha and Sanjeev Kumar, son of Kashmir Singh a resident of Bolima village under Chabbe Wal police station in Hoshiarpur
Mamat Ranni, wife of Raj Kumar a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala Shahkot, complained to Jalandhar(rural) senior superintendent of police (SSP) that she paid Rs 25 to the accused for facilitating her daughter‘s fiancé’s migration abroad, but he was not sent abroad, and did not return her money.
DSP said that a case under sections 316 (criminal breach of trust), 318(4) (cheating and dishonesty inducing delivery of property )of the BNS, and section 13 of the Punjab Travel Profession Regulation Act has been registered against the accused after an inquiry
