Villager arrested for selling illicit   liquor 

NAKODAR 26 JUNE 

 The Mehat Pur  police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit   liquor

Investigating officer (IO), Puran Singh, said 50  bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused, identified as Narindar Pal alias Nanju, a resident of Birr Baloki village.

IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
